U.S. Innovation: Pathways toward Net Zero
This interactive multimedia exhibit from the Corporate Coalition for Innovation and Technology Toward Net Zero (CCITNZ) will demonstrate how American technology, the Inflation Reduction Act, and other U.S. and global policies are contributing toward global climate goals. The digital experience will showcase breakthrough technologies and groundbreaking projects. It will spotlight how public-private partnerships can encourage the development of innovative solutions across the energy, transportation, infrastructure, agricultural and other sectors promoting long-term sustainable progress.
About CCITNZ: CCITNZ is a cross-sector business alliance dedicated to helping countries meet decarbonization and climate change goals through innovation and technology. Announced in 2022, CCITNZ intends to serve as an accelerator for industries across sectors and geographies to innovate and develop breakthrough technologies to help achieve these goals. Making Waves: Partnerships for Youth Capacity Building and Engagement for the UN Ocean Decade of Science for Sustainable Development!

Peace Boat US has curated an interactive art exhibition featuring images from the UN Ocean Decade program including AR (Augmented Reality) to raise awareness for ocean and climate action. Attendees will be able to download the ‘Artivive’ app for free and see the images in the AR gallery come to life, bringing special messages for climate action and preservation of our ocean.
The Making Waves exhibit will showcase Peace Boat’s collaborations across the United States working with local governments, academia, civil society and youth groups to develop capacity building for youth. Peace Boat’s collaborations focus on the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, a major global initiative to deepen scientific knowledge of the sea and revitalize our oceans. Its mission is to generate the knowledge we need to achieve a world where biodiversity flourishes and the ocean plays a central role in the drive for sustainable, fair development of our planet as we tackle the realities of climate change. The exhibit will draw on Peace Boat activities over the past year and announce new initiatives including Peace Boat U.S.’ “Youth for the SDGs” scholarship program. The scholarship will help hundreds of youth sail the world onboard Peace Boat’s ship, the MV Pacific World, which has the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) logo on the hull, bringing the message of the SDGs to more than 100 countries per year.

This exhibit is located in the U.S. Center green room and will be accessible to general COP28 attendees from 12:00 – 1:30 daily.
